This morning there is mist and fog on the River Forth. Do take care if you are driving south.
Cloudy most of the day with surprise showers before mid-morning. This is followed by some sunny intervals and light/heavy rain until lunchtime.
Followed by a cloudy sky with sunny intervals until mid-afternoon when there could be some rain. However, do expect surprise rainfall after lunch until an hour or two before teatime.
After tea, it is a light and cloudy sky until midnight but do expect surprise rainfall throughout the night and there is a high risk of rain before mid-evening.

Risks: Surprise rainfall throughout the day. An Easterly wind will mean a risk of planes overhead from Edinburgh airport. However, the pandemic as caused many scheduled flights to be cancelled. Risk of mist and fog near or on the river areas. When driving please take care on the Forth Road Bridge, Queensferry Crossing and the Kincardine bridge this morning. The fog returns tonight on high ground and near any coastal area too.
