In the afternoon the mostly cloudy sky continues with some showers (less than a 50% risk) after lunch and before tea.
From tea-time, there are sunny intervals and sun in all its glory just before the close of play.
After which there should be a clear evening sky. That clear sky continuing until Monday morning.

Risks: A mixture of risks today:
– Sun. This evening just before the close of play do make sure you are wearing sun protection.
– Wind: This morning until just before lunch-time the wind gusts are above 30 mph. This makes it difficult for pedestrians to walk. As it is an Easterly wind there is a risk of planes overhead from Edinburgh Airport until midnight tonight. Expect a couple. of planes tonight after 9 pm. However, as you all may well know most of the scheduled flights are cancelled because of the pandemic.
– Rain, Ice, Hail and Snow. Throughout the day there is a risk of rain and showers. There is a risk in Dalgety Bay of rain and showers just after lunch and before tea. On the higher ground, there is also a risk of hail and snow. This wintry weather fizzles out in the evening but the cold temperatures bring with it an overnight frost. Therefore, if you need to use your car first thing tomorrow you may need to clear your windscreen of frost. Because of the drop in temperature and risk of rain, there may be an Ice risk tonight on high ground.

The birds have been chatting this morning, they have heard that there have been many humans out sunbathing and visiting beautiful parts of the country. They are really confused as they heard there was some life-threatening human virus moving across the world. They were wondering if the danger had gone away? I am not a scientist but I am sure that all that danger is still there.
