Dalgety Bay Art Club Exhibition 10 am – 5 pm (Tomorrow) Saturday 9 November 2019
We hear that Dalgety Bay Art Club tomorrow (Saturday) will have their second event exhibition for the year from 10 am to 5 pm, 9 November 2019 at Dalgety Parish Church. Their first was in May of this year. A bit of background… The club – founded in 1981 held its first exhibition in October of that year. That exhibition was locally known as the One Hundred and One Exhibition – a title that reflects the number of paintings on show. It is now 38 years on and therefore this year’s Autumn event is well worth a visit. Better still why not submit an entry.
President Geoff Spence said, “The club now regularly stages two exhibitions each year – in May and November. In the early days, only paintings were exhibited, but as the club evolved, the first craft was added to complement the artwork and now we also incorporate an active photographic section.”
“To help supplement club funds, much of the members’ work will be offered for sale, and this year we have again produced an artwork calendar which reflects the creative skills of the members”
“The club’s ‘pop-up’ tearoom at the venue will also be well worth a visit, as a wide variety of high-quality home bakes will be on the menu.”
Price: Free entry
