Cloudy with sunny intervals until lunchtime. Then in the afternoon, the sun will shine in all its glory near lunchtime for an hour or two, then sunny intervals until tea-time. After and during tea those sunny intervals continue. But there should be a surprise arrival of the sun in all its glory before the close of play. In the evening, there will be a clear sky for a little while, that will start to fill with clouds before midnight.

Risks: Risk of a mist near the River Forth from early morning until about lunchtime. If you are driving please take care near the Queensferry Crossing and Kincardine Bridge. Ultraviolet index could reach a high of 6 just after lunch. Therefore, please wear sun protection. There is an Easterly wind and there maybe planes overhead from Edinburgh Airport. Tonight and overnight that mist will return. Please do take care while driving.

The birds had a wonderful dawn chorus, it sounded as though we were in an Amazon Rain Forest. Then real life interrupted that beautiful thought at 5:53 am as an EasyJet plane overflew Dalgety Bay at just over 7,000 feet (2.13 km). The birds were amazed. Then they happily carried on singing their beautiful song. It might have been these two songs from Jungle Book they had been singing.
