Summary: Sunny since early today but will be mostly cloudy with rain, sunny intervals and showers for the rest of the day/evening
In the morning there is a mixture. Starts with Sun in all its glory, then sunny intervals followed by cloud with an over 50% chance of rain before lunchtime.
During the lunch that rain risk returns for an hour or two. This is followed by sunny intervals and more cloud until mid-morning. Then the rain returns for another hour or two. After which and just before tea-time there are some sunny intervals.
At about tea-time, there is more rain which is followed by more cloud and showers until the close of play.
For the evening, it is a blanket of cloud in the sky to snuggle up to for a restful night of sleep.

Risks: When going out into the sun please remember to put your sun protection on. There is a risk of surprise showers and rain throughout the day and into the evening. As there is an Easterly Wind there is a risk of planes overhead from Edinburgh Airport. As we all know most scheduled flights from and to the airport have been cancelled because of the pandemic.
That is it from me and do have a superb Sunday with family and friends. And no, don’t visit or allow visitors, we are still in lockdown! But do use the Internet (Facetime, WhatsApp, and Zoom) or just pick up your phone and talk to someone you have not spoken to for a while. The birds are singing, lots of tweets. Some are very sad as they had placed a bet on the name of the new baby at No 10. It was not named Boris and they lost a lot of golden seeds!
