Yesterday was Doctor Day. "Only Medicines cure diseases, but amazingly it is only doctors that can cure patients". #DoctorsDay #Respect #PPG #InverkeithingMedicalGrouo
And the Good news is that the Inverkeithing Medical Group have a Patient Participant Group.
See www.inverkeithingmedicalgroup.scot.nhs.uk/tests-and-results.aspx?t=2
That is where they say and we assume they meet by Zoom or something similar now...
Who are we?
We are a group of volunteer patients from the doctor's surgeries in Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay. We also have key staff members from both practices in our group.
What do we do?
We are working to develop a partnership between staff and patients. We look at what patients think about services and try to establish their priorities. Likewise, we wish to provide a platform to forward ideas and plans from both patients and the practice. We want to help and encourage patients to take more responsibility for their health by providing patient-based information.
How often do we meet?
We meet monthly on a Tuesday evening for a 90-minute meeting at either Inverkeithing or Dalgety Bay surgery.
What can we do for you?
We are quite a new group and would value your ideas about what we can do to help you or your family. Please contact us with your ideas, thoughts or opinion at fife.img@nhs.scot
You do not have to be in the group to make a difference!
What the group cannot do.
We cannot handle your complaints. We do not have access to confidential patient information
