Dalgety Bay Weather: As at 9 am on 4th March 2020
Here is the weather for Wednesday
With a high of 9°C and a low of -2°C it feels like -4°C.
A frosty start to the day with frost on a lot of windscreens. Cloudy for most of the day with sunny intervals until 12:55 pm.
In the afternoon the cloud continues with some light rain mid-afternoon. Then it is a cloud-filled sky until the close of play.
The evening brings partially cloudy skies followed by a clear sky until early Thursday morning.
Wind: A mixture of Westerly, West North Westerly, West South Westerly, South Westerly, South-South Westerly, and a South-South Easterly wind about 6:05 pm tonight for an hour or two.
Speed: 4-(6)-9-(5)-(5) mph
Gusts: 9-10-9-(10)-13-(8)-9-11-(9) mph
Risks: Of surprise showers in the afternoon and evening. More frost tonight and overnight, therefore, be ready for frost on windscreens. Tonight and overnight beware of ice on the roads if you are a pedestrian or a driver, especially after rain. Ice is often under bridges and on the partially sheltered roads. It is also may be present on rural roads and country lanes. I am told that you need to remember to drive into a skid to regain control of your car.
That is it from me and have a wonderful Wednesday. The birds are singing this morning, they must think Spring is on the way! But what a cold day. The birds don’t seem to mind as they are happily chirping and going about their business.
Easterly wind means planes overhead from Edinburgh Airport at about tea time.
