Met Office Yellow warning of wind for most of Scotland. In Dalgety Bay Wind Gusts over 30 mph now, peaking to 52 mph at tea-time and dropping to 22 mph by midnight.
There are further warnings for tomorrow of wind. For Monday there is a Yellow Met Office Wind and Snow warning for most of Scotland. In Fife, the furthest point East is Burntisland with Cowdenbeath and Kelty being the most Northerly (So far for Dalgety Bay the weather forecasted is sleet as opposed to snow).
Sun in all its glory until near the close of play when the sky will have some cloud. Light rain will start near tea time and this will convert to heavy rain after an hour or two. This heavy rain should continue until midnight.
Risks: Wind gusts above 30 mph makes it difficult for pedestrians to walk. From 3:55 pm wind gusts exceed 40 mph and will make it difficult for high sided vehicles on motorways and bridges. The wind increases to 52 mph at about 5:55 pm and should steadily decrease to 22 mph before midnight. Heavy rain tonight may cause flooding on local roads especially near roundabouts at Aldi, on routes to Aberdour and near roundabouts at Inverkeithing.
