Westerly winds – theoretically no planes overhead from Edinburgh Airport.  Cloudy most of the day.  Sun in all its glory and sunny intervals from mid morning for a hour or two.  Light rain at lunch-time. Then from 3:55 pm until the close of play sunny intervals and a clear sky for the sun until the close of play.
