Lightning Storm hits the Bay
Dalgety Bay Weather: Storm Tuesday/Wednesday 11th and 12th August 2020

This is the closest stock video I could find to describe the experience. The first sign of the storm was at about 5 pm. But from 9pm it has been a constant flickering light across our sky. The electric storm, the worst that I have seen in a lifetime, is due to subside overnight.

It beats the electric storms of Florida. An almost out of this world experience. The good news is that the storm is forecast to leave the Bay, between 1 and 2 am this morning. The bad news is that it is going do a small return visit at about 7:55 am for an hour ot two. Then it may come back just after lunch to wish us all a fond farewell and depart about mid-afternoon. it seems that it has enjoyed its visit to paradise and had a super party in the sky.
