Fascinating, the forecasts for yesterday were varied. They included a thunderstorm and a thunderstorm for Thursday too! The thunderstorm did not appear yesterday and today all forecasters are of one common view. There will be no thunder on Thursday. We will wait and see.

Mainly a cloudy day. Mist, heavy and light cloud until lunchtime.
This is followed by light cloud until tea time but there are some sunny intervals mid-afternoon for a couple of hours.
The clouds continue at tea time. But after tea the sunny intervals return for a couple of hours. This is followed by cloud mid-evening and light rain until midnight. Overnight there are light showers and rain to water the flowers.

Risks: Of showers in the afternoon. Risk of mist and fog tonight and overnight near River and coastal areas. An easterly wind means that there is a risk of planes flying overhead from Edinburgh Airport. The wind is 30 mph and above just before midnight this makes it difficult for pedestrians to walk.
