Birds are quiet.  Perhaps the quiet before a storm.   They may need some thinking time to work out what to do about the lightning event on Tuesday.  The silence has just been broken the owls have given off their wartime sirens, a set of loud hoots, making the Avian world aware of the impending threat.  The message, ‘Be Prepared’.
