Dalgety Bay Weather: As at 10:15 am on 31st May 2020
Here’s the weather for Sunday
With a high of 18°C and a low of 11°C feels like 9°C.
With a high of 18°C and a low of 11°C feels like 9°C.
A sunny, sunny day very much like yesterday. The sun in all its glory until the close of play. But much cooler with temperatures of about 15°C , 19°C and 11°C. Just be extremely careful before and after lunch until mid-afternoon as ultraviolet rays are high at 6 and 7.
Sadly our great city (Edinburgh) can’t be seen this morning. It seems to have disappeared behind the mist/fog.
Wind: East North Easterly, (Easterly), East North Easterly, (East North Easterly), North Easterly, (North Easterly)
Speed: 11-10-14-(13)-(17)-(11) mph (for info weather forecasters record weather in Knots per hour and not kilometres per hour. A knot is slightly less than a mile).
Gusts: 15-14-(19)-(27)-(16) mph
Risks: Should you venture out into the sun please remember to wear your sun protection. There is an Easterly wind today and therefore there may be planes overhead from Edinburgh Airport. First thing on Monday morning there may be a mist or fog on or near the River Forth which may mean poor visibility on the Queensferry Crossing, Forth Road Bridges and the Kincardine Bridges.
That is it from me and do have a superb Sunday. If you choose to meet up with friends and family outside you will find helpful advice here from the BBC. The truth of the matter is that there is not much room in our gardens and there are a lot of things that we need to take care about. This includes our invitation list, and is it safe to invite someone over 70 or anyone that is vulnerable? Please see www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52848793
The birds are singing in a minor scale. They seem to be concerned. It appears that there is a lot of work in organising an outdoor family and friend meetup. Such as:
– 45 minute staggered wash your hand breaks.
– Shut the toilet loo lid when one flushes the toilet after use
The BBC story that I mentioned outlines 9 rules in depth that need to be looked at.
