Here is the weather for Friday

With a high of 15° C and a low of 11° C and feels like 7° C .   

Sunny intervals until just before lunchtime then the sky should be mainly cloudy.

From mid-afternoon until tea-time there are light and heavy rain showers
After which there are sunny intervals and a cloudy sky until the close of play.
In the evening there are partly cloud covered skies until midnight.  This is followed by cloud and showers overnight.
Wind: South.Westerly all day and into the evening
Speed: 23-28-(27)-29-23-(25)-25-23-(25) mph
Gusts: 35-45-(43)-47-40-(45)-46-40-(42) mph
Risks:  Early morning wind gusts above 30 mph means that it makes it difficult for pedestrians to walk.  Just before lunch those winds increase to over 40 mph which makes it difficult to drive.  It is more than likely that the Forth Road Bridge will be closed to buses for most of today and the buses will need to use the Queensferry Crossing. Risk of random surprise showers this morning and for parts of the afternoon.  The risk diminishes in the evening.
That is it from me and do have a fantastic Friday.  The birds are tweeting, it seems to be a song in a sad minor key.   I think they had great expectations about the easing of the lock down for 28th May.
