Cloudy with sunny intervals in the morning. There is over a 50% chance of showers before lunchtime for an hour or two.
The showers return in the afternoon from 1:05 pm for a little while. But the sky is mainly cloudy with sun intervals at random times.
At tea-time, there will be random showers for an hour or two but there will be cloud and sunny intervals until the close of play.
In the evening, it is cloudy until midnight with some rain showers mid-evening.

Risks: Easterly wind until mid-afternoon means there is a risk of planes overhead from Edinburgh Airport. But, the pandemic has caused a lot of flight cancellations. There is a risk of surprise showers throughout the day but more so in the afternoon when there could be one or two thunderstorms. Tonight for those further inland there could be frost on the ground.
