Dalgety Bay Weather: As at 10:30 am on 07 03 2020
Cloudy nearly all day.
Cloud in the morning with a 20% risk of rain in the morning (It is raining as I am writing this report). Wind gusts over 30 mph this morning.
In the afternoon light rain is forecast for an hour or two. The wind gusts continue reaching 39 mph just before tea.
This is followed in the evening by more light rain and light showers from 7:55 pm until early Sunday morning. The wind gusts continue peaking at 45 mph after tea. The wind returning to below 30 mph at about 6:05 pm on Sunday.
Wind: A mixture South Westerly, South-South Westerly winds throughout the day and into the evening.
Speed: 12-(18)-17-20-19-(24)-25-(22) mph
Gusts: 28-34-(33)-36-34-39-(43)-44-(39) mph
Risks: Surprise light and heavy rain throughout the day and evening. Gust speeds of over 30 mph make it difficult for pedestrians to walk. Then in the evening the gust speeds increase to over 40 mph making it difficult for driving in particular high sided vehicles.
