Here’s the weather for Thursday
Flood warning alert for roads and surface water in place for most of Scotland. Only the most westerly/Northerly parts of Fife appear to be at risk
With a high of 11°C and a low of 3°C.
Light and heavy cloud until lunchtime
Light cloud after lunch then heavy rain until mid-afternoon followed by some light rain for an hour or two.
Then more light cloud until the close of play.
After which the should be cloud until near midnight when the sky will become slightly clearer.
Risks: Gusts of wind over 30 mph from mid-afternoon until mid-evening this will make it difficult for some pedestrians to walk. Easterly wind from just before lunch until just before tea will mean planes overhead from Edinburgh Airport. Risk of surprise rainfall throughout the day. Some surprise showers in the evening and overnight.
